Birthday: December 7, 1987 Education: I am a graduate of State College Area High School, class of 2006 (yes, I'm a townie), and I am currently a sophomore in the Schreyer Honors College majoring in BioEngineering. Interests and Activities: I love relaxing to all kinds of music...I have a very eclectic collection of music that contains genres ranging from classical to rock, rap, country, and/or techno (some of my favorite bands, though, are Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, and the Dave Matthews Band). I am an active member of the Women in Engineering Program (WEP) and participate in activities such as Girl Scout Saturdays and WEPO. When I'm not busy studying, I enjoy spending time with my friends or sleeping when I have the chance. Oh, and I love Penn State football. Research: I
am currently exploring the wonderful world of voltammetry with Yogesh.
I am still trying to perfect my carbon fiber electrode fabrication
techniques and will hopefully soon be working in vivo measuring
re-uptake rates of serotonin in the brain.
